Going to Dallas for about a month tomorrow.  Hoping to see God move in my support raising process, trying to remember that the most important part of this process is what He is doing in me.  I actually have been working on several post ideas, so there should be some interesting ones up soon!  Don’t hold your breath…

  • Think the Republican/Democrat smears are bad?  In Germany this week a group of left-wing protestors gathered to demonstrate their objection to a right-wing rally and it erupted into violence.  Maybe the smear campaigns aren’t so bad…
  • Palin Online: Millions of people take to the web to find out what they can about her, setting records along the way.
  • I can’t wait for this: The Debates are set, this should be interesting.
  • After Josh Howard’s latest public gaffe Mark Cuban was apparently inundated with hate mail so he posted the worst offenders, email addresses and all, on his blog.  He took it down later and posted this explanation.
  • Alan Hirsch, one of my favorite authors, wrote a cool post on networked movements like what we’re thinking about with CRM.  He also posted Gandhi’s Seven Deadly Sins which were pretty interesting.
  • Erica Haub of The Margins points to a Kingdom Grace post on what I’d call theological certainty that resonates with me called The End.  I think we need to learn how to hold what we love loosely, not drop it altogether but hold it lightly enough to adjust as the Spirit leads.  I’ve had several conversations about this recently; it’s a good challenge.
  • World Names Profiler: Search for where your name is most common: Savage is most common in Scotland, New Zealand, and the UK
  • An interesting article on how Democrats and Republicans differ (it’s not how you think!)
  • Missional, Monastic, Emerging: A Travelers Guide
  • You thought seat liscensing for NFL stadiums was bad, how about for high school games?  Scroll about a quarter of the way down to see how much Carroll Independent School District is charging.

Off tonight to hear some live jazz with my cousin, definitely a great way to spend my last night here in Cruces for a while.

Peace.
